How It Works: The Journey from Waste Film to Pure Pellets
Our entire washing line operates seamlessly under a central electric control panel, with conveyors smoothly transferring material between each stage. Here’s a glimpse into the transformation process:
1. Plastic Shredder Machine:
The journey begins here. We efficiently cut large or bundled plastic film into smaller, manageable pieces. This crucial first step prevents tangling and ensures smooth passage through the subsequent machinery.
2. Plastic Granulator (Wet Granulation):
Next, the shredded film enters the granulator, reducing piece size further to about 10-20mm. Crucially, water is continuously injected during this stage. This “wet granulation” not only cools the blades but also pre-washes the material, removing initial surface contaminants.
3. Friction Washer:
Time for a deep clean! Our high-speed friction washer spins at nearly 1,000 RPM. As the plastic pieces tumble and rub against each other intensely within the chamber, even stubborn dirt and residues are effectively scrubbed away using cold water.
4. Sink Float Separation Tank:
Using the simple principle of density, this tank separates materials in water. Lighter plastics (like PP/PE film) float, while heavier contaminants (dirt, sand, other plastics) sink. This step significantly enhances purity and provides another washing stage.
5. Centrifugal Dewatering Machine:
The first drying stage uses centrifugal force. This machine efficiently spins out a large percentage of the water clinging to the plastic flakes, preparing them for the final drying phase.
6. Thermal Dryer + Cyclone Separator:
Cleaned flakes are then conveyed into the thermal drying system. They travel through stainless steel pipes, mixing with precisely controlled hot air to gently evaporate remaining moisture. The process concludes with a cyclone separator, which separates the dried flakes from the air stream.
7. Product Silo:
A dedicated storage silo holds the clean, dry, ready-to-process plastic flakes, ensuring a buffer for the final step.
8. Plastic Pelletizing Machine:
The grand finale! The clean, dry flakes are fed into our specialized plastic film water ring pelletizer. This machine melts, filters, and forms the plastic into beautiful, uniform pellets – the final, valuable product ready for use in manufacturing new items.
