Advanced Single-Shaft Shredder for Rubber & Plastics
Efficiently shredding large, elastic materials such as rubber tires and resilient plastics poses significant challenges for standard rotary granulator machines. Double-shaft shredders are typically used for these demanding tasks, but they often come with higher costs and complex, time-intensive maintenance.
To effectively address these challenges, we offer our specialized three-clawed single-shaft shredder machines, explicitly engineered for cutting tough materials like rubber tires, silicone, TPE, EVA, and other elastic plastics. These shredders deliver robust performance, starting from capacities of 1,000 kg/h and scaling up to 5,000 kg/h.
How Does Our Single-Shaft Shredder Work?
Drawing from extensive experience in plastic recycling, we’ve designed our single-shaft shredders for durability and ease of maintenance. Like many single-shaft shredders on the market, our machines feature a hydraulic-assisted drawer mechanism that firmly pushes the rubber or plastic material against a slow-turning rotor.
This rotor incorporates specially engineered three-clawed blades arranged in a staggered pattern to effectively grip and shred large, elastic materials. Stationary blades installed within the cutting chamber ensure precise cutting action.
