Working Principle:

The essence of a trommel lies in its large cylindrical mesh screen tunnel that leisurely rotates between 6 – 10 rotations per minute. Inside this rotating tunnel, flaps are strategically mounted to perpetually flip the feedstock, aiding its forward movement through the trommel. As the trommel is tilted at an angle, the feedstock is gently ushered through it, during which smaller pieces of unwanted contamination like broken glass fall through the mesh screen to be collected separately. Meanwhile, pieces larger than the mesh screen holes continue their journey forward to the next recycling machinery, thus ensuring a streamlined separation process.
